Typical scope:

  • Search strategy and evaluation criteria (use-case fit, water reliability, operational feasibility)
  • Diligence and valuation (water delivery/transfer terms, augmentation/wells, leases, infrastructure, title/easements)
  • Offer strategy (terms that protect downside without killing the deal)
  • Negotiation and execution through closing or lease signature

Compensation is often offered through the listing side as a cooperative arrangement. In those cases, the buyer typically does not pay a separate fee beyond the transaction economics already in play.
